Faith, Love, Grace, and Mercy

As we continue to walk through this beautiful journey and add to our testimony I want to encourage you all to live in Faith, Love, Grace, and Mercy.

Hebrews 11 New International Version (NIV)

Faith in Action

11 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

I find so much joy and strength in the book of Hebrews. Hebrews 11 is by far one of my favorite places to camp out and learn. God’s will for us is to get into relationship with Him. Our Faith in Him to see us through is paramount to our communion with Him.

We must be diligent and really press in so we can really get to know God.

Love is the key to everything.

Matthew 22:34-40 New International Version (NIV)

The Greatest Commandment

34 Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together.35 One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

If we follow these rules we cannot fail. Love never fails and God is love so He will never fail us. There are times where we think God has fallen short. Maybe it is where you didn’t get the job you wanted or you have felt slighted after someone you loved very deeply passed away but I am here to tell you God has no part in untimely death, disease, or anything that will negatively affect you. God loves us and created us in His image. He wants nothing but the best for us.
God’s Grace is amazing and we are saved by Grace through Faith.

2 Corinthians 12:8-9 NIV

8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me

Where we are weak, He is strong. Where we doubt, He reaffirms. Where we lack, He sustains. His love is sufficient.

God’s Mercy is what wakes us up everyday. It is by His will we go forward everyday to help others, open their eyes to God’s glory, and share the Gospel.

Psalm 85 10-13
10 Love and faithfulness meet together;
righteousness and peace kiss each other.
11 Faithfulness springs forth from the earth,
and righteousness looks down from heaven.
12 The Lord will indeed give what is good,
and our land will yield its harvest.
13 Righteousness goes before him
and prepares the way for his steps.

His Mercy allows us to walk His narrow path to righteousness never veering to the left or the right.

We may get steered off course, but when we are faithful to Him, spend time alone in our Secret Place get to know who he is through the reading of the scripture, we will delight in the things of the spirit and live a fulfilled life!

Have an amazing night! Go Be Awesome!

  1. I had a funny vision when I read you last paragraph about getting off course and really my vision while weird, it works – Walking the narrow path is like driving into oil change pit where you have to be careful in navigating the lift. There is a guy guiding you right or left to make sure you stay on course. If we look around, God puts a lot of thing in our daily path to remind us of His love and guidance. I too love Hebrews 11. It is a magnificent chapter.
