Phototropism

Phototropism/ˌfōdəˈtrōpizəm/

the orientation of a plant or other organism in response to light;toward the source of light

No matter how you turn a plant it continues to reach for the light.

We could learn something from plants.

Jesus’ instruction for us is to let our light so shine amoung men.

He says we are the light of the world and He is the father of lights.

In 1 John 1:7 is says:

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

Our created value is to shine.

We are put in situations where we can be a light for others and it can be reciprocated when we are walking through a difficult time in our lives.

The Bible makes references between good and evil;darkness and light on several occasions but when I ponder this comparison I believe this to be the most accurate reference to consider:

‭John 1:1-5 NIV‬
[1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] He was with God in the beginning. [3] Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. [4] In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. [5] The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

John goes on to explain the word became flesh and dwelt among them referring to Jesus.

Jesus set us an example of how to live, how to treat others, how to show compassion, how to be love and a light for others.  We need only to look at our neighbor and spend time in prayer because He has created us for that specific purpose.

No matter how dark your situation seems you can reach for the light knowing God is involved in the process.

You may get your answers through others He has sent or it may just be you and Him alone in your prayer closet.  He will mend your heart, take your pain, cure your suffering, and set you free.

Keep reaching my friends.  You will get what you need for growth and healing.

Have a blessed day!
