The Word and God’s Work

I read the book of James with my boys this evening and did not realize the power and encouragement within it’s pages.

I am always excited by their reaction to what we share together and I am always encouraged by what they take away from our time in the word together.

Mason is emotionally where I am when it comes to God. His love for the Bible and his excitement and passion for Jesus is inspiring. He is still young but his reverence and admiration go very far as he proclaims his Christianity.

God has done an amazing work in our home. It is humbling to watch and a true blessing and expression of His love for us to be able to share the word every night and for us to allow God to lead us as we pray after we read.
