Although I Am Discouraged…

Although I am discouraged by the brevity of life I feel empowered and encouraged by the relationships and love we can share in order to make it count.

So much of what we go through or experience is quantified by the friendships we have, the love we have been blessed to receive, and the strength we offer to each other when we can’t find our own.

It only takes one kind word to change a life.

Thank God for His grace and mercy. Intake your immediate environment.

Who is around you? What are they carrying? How can you encourage them? Are they burdened by something they think no one understands?

Are they feeling anxious or afraid? Are they dealing with addiction or carrying a secret so difficult they don’t know where to turn?

Are you experiencing something this difficult?

How have we gotten so caught up in what the world demands of us that we miss the importance of love, empathy, kindness, and human interaction?

I want to stress something to you today. I appreciate you. Even if I don’t know you. Even if you just happen upon this and don’t know how you are receiving this message right now.

You have value and worth. You have a God given conviction in your heart to do good things and impact others. Your soul is uniquely yours and your spirit is to be shared through acts of kindness and joy. It will radiate through your smile and be ever present in your laugh lines as you grin and share hope with someone else.

Joy and laughter are a contagion when released around those you care about and those you encounter and encourage along the way. There is only one you.

There is only one you.

Stand today in your created value and be a hope bringer in all circumstances. Even if you feel like less than and unequal to everyone else because that is the best way to get out of your own way.

Stay blessed and know that even if you don’t feel like anyone else cares there is someone watching over you who does and someone else whose life has been impacted by the kindness of your single word.
